The London Werewolves defeated the White Deer Tropics, 9-8, in 11 innings. Mike Mennella led the way, going 3-for-5 for London. The Werewolves now have a record of 53-25 with the win over White Deer.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when London third baseman Steve Cathey, facing Troy Zufelt, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Werewolves the 9-8 win.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Mennella said.
