Despite a great performance by Pueblo first baseman T.J. Cray, the Nashua Sweepers defeated the Heroes by the score of 8-7 at Miller Park. Cray slugged 2 home runs. The Sweepers go to 27-49, putting them 5th in the Southern A East Division.

In the bottom of the fourth, Nashua catcher Colt Stovall had a run-producing at-bat. Facing Pueblo hurler John Wilgus, Stovall hit a sacrifice fly. That made the score 8-0, Nashua. For the day, Stovall went 2 for 4 with a double.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Nashua manager Tony Allen.
