The Dollywood Partons knocked off the Bangor Lumberjacks, 3-1, in Southern A action at Ballpark of Bangor. Dollywood pitcher and Galveston, Texas, native Adam Begue had an outstanding performance. Dollywood has run its win streak to 8 in a row.
Justin Hunt, who is tied for 8th in the S-A in runs scored with 49, had a direct impact on the outcome. Hunt contributed a run-scoring triple in the top of the fourth inning to put Dollywood up, 2-0.
"Adam is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Dollywood manager Adam Freeman.
