Behind a fine performance from Taylor McLean, the Boston Whistlers knocked off the Syracuse Scorpions, 11-1. McLean slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Whistlers. Joe Schroeder picked up the win with 7.1 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 8 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 4-5.
