A good performance from left fielder Eric Bradstreet helped the Syracuse Scorpions defeat the Boston Whistlers, 6-4. Bradstreet was 2-3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Scorpions. Syracuse reliever Greg Brittingham was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Antonio Higuera. Syracuse, with the win, sits at 20-42.

Syracuse took a 5-4 lead on Raheem Rogers's 12th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Rogers hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Boston pitcher Antonio Higuera visibly frustrated.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Bradstreet told the Syracuse Gazette.
