The Bangor Lumberjacks powered past the Columbus Bowsers, 11-6, at Ballpark of Columbus. Xavier Cyprian went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2, to lead the charge. The save went to Mike Lopez, number 2 for him.

Bangor used the hitting of John Jimenez to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Lumberjacks on top, 8-4. For the game, Jimenez had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

Cyprian called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
