Partons Get Extra-Inning, 3-2 Win
The Dollywood Partons overcame a big game from Louisville second baseman Dave Aschenbrener to pick up a win at Dolly Parton Ballpark. The final score was 3-2, Dollywood, in 10 innings. Aschenbrener went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Scott Sauer came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 6-2. The first-place Partons have won 6 straight.

Batting in the bottom of the tenth, 21-year old third baseman Lance Parrent had a real shot to win the game. Louisville pitcher Morgan Felty was determined not to let it happen. But with no outs, Parrent hit a run-scoring single. The Partons had a walk-off triumph.

"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Dollywood manager Adam Freeman.
