The Barrie Admirals went home winners at Wizards Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Danny Cortez. Cortez stifled the Kalamazoo Comets, enabling Barrie to grab the 5-0 win. The second-place Admirals have won 4 in a row.

Barrie used the hitting of Cole Roth to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Admirals on top, 2-0. For the game, Roth had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
