White Deer Offense Sputters in 6-0 Loss
The Long Beach Keys converted a terrific effort from starter Matt Davis into a win over the White Deer Tropics at Ballpark of White Deer. The Keys won the game by a final score of 6-0. Davis yielded no runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 4-3. The 5th-place Keys now sit at 26-43.

Long Beach used the bat of Brett McAdams to get the win. The second baseman hit a fastball from Jon Chouinard out of the park for a grand slam home run. The blast came in the top of the third inning and put the Keys on top, 6-0. It was McAdams's lone hit, but it left a mark.

"Matt giving us the start that he did was huge," said Long Beach manager .
