The Bangor Lumberjacks and Pueblo Heroes played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.

In a tight contest between the Bangor Lumberjacks and the Pueblo Heroes, Macho Martinez was the determining factor. The Bangor left-hander sparkled in his team's 3-1 win. Chris Wimberley got the save, the 2nd for him this season.

In the bottom of the fourth, Bangor center fielder Juan Jasso whacked a curveball to center for a 2-run double. His 13th double of the season put the Lumberjacks in front, 2-1.

Jasso attributed the win to his team's "steely resolve."

The 4th-place Lumberjacks are now 30-40, the Heroes 48-22.
