Dollywood pitcher Ryan Roeser had a large part in his team beating the Bangor Lumberjacks, 5-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. In 7 innings, Roeser surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 3 runs. Gregg Daugherty earned his 10th save, after closing out the game.

Justin Hunt dealt the Lumberjacks a blow in the bottom of the first. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Dollywood leading 1-0, Hunt, who is tied for 4th in the S-A in triples with 4, hit a 1-1 curveball for a 2-run single.

"I still think this team can play even better," Roeser told the Dollywood Today.

With the win, Dollywood goes to 55-15, while the Lumberjacks fall to 34-36.
