The Mexico City Aztecs scored a convincing win at Aggies Ballpark, defeating the Atlanta Aggies, 17-3. One of the hitting stars was 20-year old left fielder Jonathan Lewis who went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Luis Aguirre was the winner. He's now 7-2. The loser was 18-year old right-handed pitcher Adam Downing. The losses continue to mount for Atlanta, which has now dropped 8 in a row.

Mexico City used the hitting of Jeff Ciervo to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Aztecs on top, 3-0. For the game, Ciervo had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
