Mexico City Carves Out 3-0 Win
The Mexico City Aztecs had to overcome a good performance from London pitcher Greg Forness to claim a 3-0 win at Werewolves Ballpark. Forness went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Mexico City reliever Alvaro Ochoa picked up the win to move to 4-0. Greg Forness suffered the loss. Ken Griffey finished to wrap up his 11th save.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 21-year old second baseman Bill Gonzalez. Gonzalez had a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Aztecs ahead, 1-0. For the game, Gonzalez had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Adrian Mercado. "That was the problem."

Mexico City is now 50-18.
