The Pueblo Heroes earned a close win over the Mexico City Aztecs, thanks in part to Steve Sullivan. The Pueblo right-hander played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Pueblo has an impressive 47-20 record.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Heroes had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when second baseman Jose Raygoza hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Jae-weong Hyun and made the score 2-1, Heroes. Raygoza went 2-3 with 2 singles.

"It'd be nice to win by four or five runs," Raygoza said, "instead of holding our breath the whole game."
