Bowsers Deal Werewolves 10-6 Setback
The Columbus Bowsers topped the London Werewolves, 10-6, with youngster Gregg Carter playing a key role. Carter was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for the Bowsers in the win. Joey Byler earned the save for Columbus, his 12th of the year. The Werewolves, now 28-38, have lost 4 straight.

Columbus used a well-timed hit by Omari Baker to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the second inning to put the Bowsers ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Carter.
