Dollywood Upended by Bangor, 5-1

The Bangor Lumberjacks locked up a win at Ballpark of Bangor, knocking off the Dollywood Partons, 5-1. On the mound for Bangor was left-hander D.J. Urbanek. He played a major role in the triumph. Urbanek, now 4-3, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 3, walking 1, and allowing no runs. The Lumberjacks have an impressive 46-21 record.
The Lumberjacks had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 5-1, Bangor, with one out. Dollywood, with the bases loaded, was mounting a threat. Hugo Ferrer dug in at the plate, but on a 1-2 changeup, he struck out.
