Big Day for Cobb in 12-8 Heroes Win
The Pueblo Heroes powered past the Lake Elsinore Storm, 12-8, at Heroes Ballpark. Nate Cobb provided some of the pop. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 and driving in 5. Jeremy Killian was called on to finish, recording his 14th save. Pueblo has now reeled off 9 straight wins.

The Heroes got a big hit from center fielder Jonathan Covarrubias. Facing Lake Elsinore pitcher Felix Acosta in the bottom of the fifth, Covarrubias pounded a 2-run double to right. His 6th double of the season put the Heroes ahead, 6-3.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Pueblo manager Jeremiah Simpson.
