Comets Absorb 4-1 Home Loss
The London Werewolves went home winners at Wizards Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Greg Forness. Forness stifled the Kalamazoo Comets, enabling London to grab the 4-1 win. Forness got the win, improving to 7-2. He gave up 8 hits and walked 1 over 6.2 innings. He allowed 1 run. The win elevated the Werewolves to 34-30.

Jimmy Kronenberger took Kalamazoo hurler Justin Bunt deep in the top of the first. His 2-run home run put the Werewolves on top, 2-0. In all, Kronenberger had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"Greg was a handful," said Kalamazoo manager Morgan Van Dyke.
