Nashua picked up a win at Miller Park, bumping off the White Deer Tropics, 5-3. Pitcher Nate Kreps was a major reason the Sweepers emerged victorious. The Sweepers bumped their record to 32-31 with this win.

The Sweepers got a big at-bat from second baseman Joe Morrison. For the game, Morrison went 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 10th double of the season gave Nashua a 2-1 lead.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Morrison told the Nashua Observer.
