The Dollywood Partons trumped the Barrie Admirals, 6-4, at Dolly Parton Ballpark. Dollywood third baseman Malcolm Garner was terrific. He went 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win gives Dollywood a season record of 44-19.

Garner had a key at-bat for Dollywood in the bottom of the first. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run double. It was his 5th double of the season and gave Dollywood an early 2-0 lead.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Dollywood manager Adam Freeman.
