The Pueblo Heroes got a good effort from starter Altus Yilmanz in defeating the London Werewolves at Werewolves Ballpark. The final score was 4-2. Dustin Nesmith picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Kevin Irons was tagged with the loss. Dallas Price closed it out for Pueblo, earning his 1st save.

Pueblo used a clutch hit from David Willis to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Heroes ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a doozy.

"Altus was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Pueblo manager Jeremiah Simpson.

Pueblo has won 5 straight, while London has lost 3 in a row.
