Keys Stumble Again, Lose, 8-1
The Pueblo Heroes powered past the Long Beach Keys, 8-1, at Heroes Ballpark. Jose Raygoza provided some of the pop. He was 3-3 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Phil Shull was the winner. He's now 6-2. The loser was 21-year old left-handed pitcher Matt Davis. Jeremy Killian earned his 5th save, after closing out the game.

With Pueblo leading 5-1 in the bottom of the sixth, Raygoza came up to bat against Long Beach pitcher David Burr. Raygoza hit a fastball to left for a 3-run home run. His 8th home run of the season put the Heroes on top, 8-1.

"Use your eyes, make an adjustment, and be better," said losing manager . "We need some accountability all the way around. Everybody, top to bottom."

Now 22-39, Long Beach has dropped 12 straight.
