Sweepers Best Tropics in Pitching Duel

Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Nashua Sweepers and White Deer Tropics.
Pitcher Jimmy Holt was sensational for the Nashua Sweepers in his team's 1-0 triumph over the White Deer Tropics. Holt earned the win. Mark Williams collected his 3rd save.
The Sweepers got a big at-bat from shortstop Jose Corona. For the game, Corona was 1 for 4 with a double. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 8th double of the season gave Nashua a 1-0 lead.
In postgame remarks, Corona applauded his team's "business-like approach."
The 5th-place Sweepers own a record of 20-41.
