Columbus registered a win at Ballpark of Columbus by beating the Nashua Sweepers, 3-2. Pitcher Ernesto Correa was one reason why the Bowsers triumphed. The winning pitcher was Correa, now 2-2. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 5. The save went to Nate Troyer, number 4 for him.

Columbus took a 3-0 lead on Alex Mareno's 13th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Mareno hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Nashua pitcher Oscar Lopez visibly frustrated.

Correa called the win a testament to his team's "grit."
