Freese Excels in 7-5 Dollywood Win
The Dollywood Partons defeated the White Deer Tropics, 7-5, at Dolly Parton Ballpark. Dollywood left fielder Colby Freese had a superb performance. He went 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Sean Hill earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 1.2 innings. He upped his record to 3-1. Josh Banks wrapped it up, recording his 2nd save.

Freese had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-1 fastball from Steve Greene, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Partons a 7-5 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Freese.

"We played hard and won," said Freese. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'

Dollywood has now won 3 straight, while the Tropics have lost 4 in a row.
