Barrie shortstop Travis Biggar had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 5-4, to Pueblo at Heroes Ballpark. Biggar went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The second-place Heroes now have a record of 39-19.

With runners on 1st and 3rd and no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning, catcher Jose Raygoza delivered big for the Heroes. Pueblo was trailing 4-1 when he belted a 3-run home run.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Barrie manager Manny Uset.
