Aztecs Reel Off Another Win
The Mexico City Aztecs reigned over the Kalamazoo Comets in damp conditions.

In a close game at Wizards Stadium, the Mexico City Aztecs edged the Kalamazoo Comets, 3-2. Mexico City second baseman Arturo Guevara stood apart with his performance. He was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. Hunter Saakadze recorded the save for Mexico City, his 13th of the season.

Mexico City center fielder Joel Patrick made an impact. He drilled a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth. In the contest, Patrick went 1 for 4.

"There's a lot of good karma around our club," said winning manager Tony Velez.

The setback makes Kalamazoo 22-36.
