The Dollywood Partons beat the White Deer Tropics, 4-3, at Dolly Parton Ballpark. Dollywood left fielder Justin Hunt had an outstanding performance. He was 2-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The losing skid has reached 7 games for White Deer.

Dollywood first baseman Colby Freese contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 17th hit of the season and put the Partons ahead, 3-0.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Hunt told the Dollywood Daily News.
