Loss to Werewolves Extends Louisville Losing Streak
|
Larry Keller did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Louisville Sweepers from being beaten, 7-5, to the London Werewolves at Miller Park. Keller was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Angel Garabito earned the save for London. Louisville is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.
London won the game in part because of Aarto Turkula. The second baseman ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Werewolves ahead, 6-5. For the game, Turkula had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said London manager Adrian Mercado.
