Miller Tosses 2-0 Shutout
Curtis Miller dominated the Nebraska Cornhuskers with a brilliant 1-hit shutout in a Duke Blue Devils 2-0 triumph at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The Duke hurler fanned 4 and walked 1 in the game and was singled out for praise afterward by the opposing manager.

"He really kept us in check today," Cornhuskers skipper Jamie Morrell said in postgame comments. "Everything looked to be moving. Seemed like the pitch was right down the middle and it went over down and away. We took some pathetic swings."

To date Miller is 3-1 in 4 starts with a 2.22 ERA and has 25 strikeouts in 24.1 innings.
