Eagles Deal Chiefs 12-5 Loss
Danny Aleman led the charge as the Indianapolis Eagles defeated the Santa Fe Chiefs, 12-5, in 11 innings at Chiefs Ballpark. Aleman, who finished 4th in the NC in OPS with .964 in 2019, went 4 for 6 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Indianapolis pitcher Cameron Hutchinson earned the win, hiking his record to 8-2. Ryan Barber suffered the loss. Indianapolis has now won 4 games in a row.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 11th, until Aleman delivered big-time for Indianapolis, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Ryan Barber. The game-changing hit put the Eagles on top, 6-5.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Aleman.
