The Spokane Selects picked up a win at Hedgehogs Ballpark, downing the Fremont Marshalls, 5-3. On the mound for Spokane was left-hander Rich Mack, who played a pivotal role in the win. Tyler Doss recorded the save for Spokane, his 14th of the season. The first-place Marshalls dropped to 35-22.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Jose Figueroa? The Spokane center fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Selects on top, 5-1. For the game, Figueroa had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Mack.
