Pilots Suffer One-Run Loss at Westwood
Westwood and Denver duked it out and the Bruins came out victorious.

Led by 22-year-old Paul Tetzloff, the Westwood Bruins knocked off the Denver Pilots, 8-7. Tetzloff went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Bruins. Today's win puts Westwood at 32-24, while Denver falls to 30-26.

The Bruins got a big hit from left fielder Tony Thomas. In the bottom of the sixth, Thomas smacked a 2-run double off Denver pitcher Luis Diaz. It was his 18th double of the season. Suddenly, the Bruins were ahead, 6-5.

"Feels good to get the job done," Tetzloff said after the game.
