Dillonvale Beaten, 3-1, by Palm Springs

In a low-scoring affair between the Palm Springs Heat and the Dillonvale Indians, pitcher Victor Luna was the difference between victory and defeat. The Palm Springs left-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-1 Heat win. Palm Springs reliever Michael Hatten picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Tyler Findley was saddled with the loss. The victory puts Palm Springs at 22-33.
Palm Springs used the clutch hitting of Dustin Roachell to snag the win. The designated hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Heat ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.
"It's a mindset," said Luna. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
