The Quebec Aces marched over the New Rochelle Purple Wave, 16-3, at Belmont Park. Eric Barrett led the charge. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Sean Torkelson got credit for the win, improving to 4-5. He allowed 3 runs on 8 hits in 6.2 innings. The triumph puts Quebec at 34-20 for the season.

With Quebec leading 6-0 in the bottom of the second, Barrett came up to bat against New Rochelle pitcher Caleb Jordan. Barrett hit a fastball to right-center for a grand slam home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Aces on top, 10-0.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Barrett said.
