The Ann Arbor Z's got a superb performance from first baseman Hunter Schalow, but the Denver Pilots still won the game, 13-10. Schalow hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The win gives Denver a season record of 30-24.

The decisive blow was delivered by Miguel Gutierrez in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 3-run home run off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Ahmed Harris to win the game for Denver. The home crowd went nuts.

"This joint was rocking," said Gutierrez.
