Kyle Griffin brought his A-game to help New Rochelle defeat the Quebec Fighting Quakers, 6-1. New Rochelle is now 30-24, while Quebec is 33-21.

Griffin threw well for New Rochelle, thwarting the Quebec offense. The right-hander tossed 95 pitches over 8.1 innings. He allowed just 1 run on 2 hits.

"Kyle has got a slow heartbeat," said New Rochelle manager Brent Boudreau. "He doesn't panic or anything."
