Denver Wins, Pratt drives in 5 runs
The Denver Pilots beat the Dillonvale Indians, 8-2, at Pilots Ballpark. Denver second baseman Jesse Pratt had an outstanding performance. He was 2-3 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5. Danny Pena, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. The Pilots saw their win-loss record go to 20-32. At the same time, the Indians fell to 18-34.

With Denver leading 5-2 in the bottom of the seventh, Pratt batted against Dillonvale pitcher Josh Harkey. Pratt hit a fastball to left for a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Pilots on top, 8-2.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Pratt told the Denver Today.
