New Rochelle Purple Wave starter Kyle Griffin pitched a strong game against the Denver Pilots at Pilots Ballpark, leading the Purple Wave to victory, 6-4. New Rochelle now sports a record of 21-30.

Kyle Nash came through with a big-time hit for New Rochelle. The shortstop smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the 13th inning to give his team the lead, 6-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"If you're not prepared, it's not pressure you feel, it's fear," mused New Rochelle manager Brent Boudreau.
