In a low-scoring tilt between the Ann Arbor Z's and the Quebec Fighting Quakers, 24-year old right-handed pitcher Sean Finch was the difference-maker. The Ann Arbor right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Finch yielded 2 runs over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 0, and struck out 3. His record improves to 2-2. Jesse Keim got credit for the save for Ann Arbor. It was his 9th of the year.
