The Hickory Crawdads took on the Quebec Aces at Belmont Park.

Roy Doub pitched a gem in leading Hickory to a 4-0 victory over the Quebec Aces. With the win, the Crawdads hiked their record to 30-21.

Hickory starter Roy Doub was exceptional. The 6-foot-3 right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8.1 innings of work.

"Roy -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Crawdads manager Ray Sanchez. "He was the key to us winning."
