Bobcats Get Past Ann Arbor for 4-3 Win
Despite a fine performance by center fielder Jeff Wise, the Ann Arbor Z's lost to the Walnut Park Bobcats, 4-3. Wise was 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 3 walks. The win was credited to 26-year old right-handed pitcher Quincy Donaldson in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Michael Brumfield took the loss. The second-place Bobcats now have a record of 29-21.

Mike Scott, who is tied for 8th in the StC with a .410 on-base percentage, had a direct impact on the outcome. Scott contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Walnut Park up, 4-3.

"Bottom line," said Ann Arbor skipper Bryan Gallegos, "we didn't play well enough to win."
