The Pueblo Heroes buried the White Deer Tropics, 13-1, under a barrage of hits. Chris Hartlaub led the onslaught, going 2-for-4 for Pueblo. At 35-18, Pueblo is in second place in the Southern A East Division.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Hartlaub hit a 3-run home run off Sherman Ayala. It propelled the Heroes into the lead, 4-1.

White Deer manager Gabriel Gonzalez called the blowout loss "a real dud."
