Bobby Lucero was terrific for the Pueblo Heroes in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Dollywood Partons. His performance earned Lucero rave reviews. Lucero yielded no runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 3, and struck out 6. His record improves to 3-1. Matthew Tapscott earned the save for Pueblo, his 4th.

T.J. Cray, who is tied for 2nd in the S-A with a .447 on-base percentage, had a direct impact on the outcome. Cray contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put Pueblo up, 2-0.
