Lake Elsinore Bats Cold in 4-0 Loss
|
White Deer pitcher Nate Roberson did his part in helping his team defeat the Lake Elsinore Storm, 4-0. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Roberson, now 2-2, was the winner. In 8.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 6, walking 4, and allowing no runs. White Deer now owns a record of 26-24.
Jonathan Hinkey had a direct impact on the outcome. Hinkey contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put White Deer up, 1-0.
"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Roberson.
