The Mexico City Aztecs knocked off the Barrie Admirals, 16-5, at Tony Gwynn Stadium. Pablo Patlan was a big reason Mexico City won. The second baseman slugged 3 home runs. He scored 4 times and drove in 5. Mexico City goes to 32-16. The win puts them 4 games up in their division.

With Mexico City leading 3-2 in the bottom of the third, Doug Wagner hit a 2-run single off Barrie pitcher Joaquin Santiago. It put the Aztecs ahead 5-2.
