The Lake Elsinore Storm got a whale of a performance from pitcher Roberto Diaz, but the White Deer Tropics still prevailed, 2-1, in 11 innings. Diaz threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. White Deer reliever Max Beltran picked up the win. Joe Reddick took the loss for Lake Elsinore. Lake Elsinore now owns a losing streak of 7 games.
The Tropics got a clutch hit from third baseman Danny Arrieta. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Tropics.
