The Dallas Dragons defeated the Chicago Gangsters, 6-3, at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark. Fred Hernandez was a standout performer for Dallas. His 2 hits included 1 single and 1 double -- this in addition to the 1 run he scored and 2 he knocked in. Mike Braasch, credited with the save, is now 22 for 27 in save opportunities. The second-place Dragons lifted their record to 67-58.
Rocky Hawke, the Dallas second baseman, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth inning to make the score 4-2, Dragons. For the game, Hawke was 2-4 with 2 singles.
