The Toronto Trash Pandas got a magnificent performance from pitcher Andy Dooley, who stifled the Cleveland offense en route to a 2-1 Trash Pandas win at Trash Panda Field. In 7.1 innings, Dooley surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 11 and walking 7. He allowed no runs. Luis Ramirez recorded the save, his 19th.

Bob Cook, who finished 5th in the NC in on-base percentage with .360 in 2016, came through for Toronto with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. The second baseman went 2 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 1 RBI.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Cook said after the game.
