Scorpions Suffer 4-1 Loss to Aztecs
|
The Mexico City Aztecs welcomed the Syracuse Scorpions to an night game at Gran Estadio Azteca.
Jay Sikora was terrific for the Mexico City Aztecs in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Syracuse Scorpions. His performance earned Sikora rave reviews. Earning his 27th save of the year was Jeff Cox.
The Aztecs got an important contribution from first baseman Gerardo Romero, who in the bottom of the third hit a fastball to left-center for a 2-run double. It was his 16th double of the season and put the Aztecs ahead, 3-0.
"Felt great, felt really good," said Sikora.
The Mexico City winning streak has reached 3 games.
