Bowsers Trip Heroes, 6-3, in Extra Innings
The Columbus Bowsers racked up a win at Heroes Ballpark, bumping off the Pueblo Heroes, 6-3, in 10 innings. Oscar Garcia, who started for Columbus, pitched effectively for his team. The win belonged to Josh Adams in relief. His record improves to 4-4. Nick Ashworth took the loss for Pueblo. The Bowsers raised their record to 25-22.

Columbus used a timely hit from Mike Beauford to get the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Bowsers ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a difference-maker.

"Oscar -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Bowsers manager Joe Mills. "He was the key to us winning."
