Breene hits 2 home runs to Power Heroes Offense
The Pueblo Heroes and Columbus Bowsers completed their game despite the rain.

A 6-RBI performance from Eric Breene, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2024 draft, helped the Pueblo Heroes beat the Columbus Bowsers, 11-6. The winner was Phil Shull in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Andres Garcia took the loss.

Chipping in for Pueblo was second baseman Josh Johnson. He stroked a 2-run single in the bottom of the second. For the game, Johnson was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Breene.

The second-place Heroes bumped their record to 29-17.
