The Dollywood Partons beat the Mexico City Aztecs, 4-1. Dollywood pitcher and Chicago, Illinois, native Matt Osborne led the way. The Partons improved to a lofty 36-9.

The decisive blow was delivered by Pedro Recinos in the bottom of the 13th when he hit a 3-run home run off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Willie Aguilar to win the game for Dollywood. The home crowd went nuts.

Recinos said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
