Bats Fail for Sweepers in 5-0 Loss
|
The Nashua Sweepers and Barrie Admirals left the fans buzzing.
Danny Cortez pitched a dandy of a game to help the Barrie Admirals beat the Nashua Sweepers, 5-0. The Admirals bumped their record to 29-15 with this win.
Cortez picked up the win. He's now 2-3, after putting the Nashua offense in the deep freeze. Over 7 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 3 hits.
"Danny did a good job of shutting their lineup down," said Barrie manager Manny Uset.
