The Pueblo Heroes got a superb performance from pitcher Altus Yilmanz, but the Dollywood Partons still won the game, 6-5. Yilmanz threw 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball. Andy Roberts recorded the save for Dollywood, his 3rd of the season. The loss makes Pueblo 17-24.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Roberto Ramirez came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Pueblo pitcher Dallas Price, he hit a 3-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Dollywood on top, 6-5.

Ramirez told the media after that game that the mood in the clubhouse is "extremely positive" after a win like that.
